Bell is releasing a Custom 500 Six Day McQueen helmet in collaboration with the Steve McQueen Estate. It is an officially licensed replica of the helmet McQueen wore during the 1964 International Six Days Trial. McQueen was selected to represent the U.S. along with a group of other American riders as the first American to compete in the event. The Triumph TR6SC with race number 278, a Barbour waxed canvas jacket and McQueen's Bell helmet have become synonymous with his role in the race and can be seen in hundreds of now famous photos. It's a style and look that is still being emulated more than sixty years later.

The BELL Steve McQueen replica Custom 500 has a beautiful blue and white paint job, with subtle red accents, just like the helmet McQueen wore during the race. "Steve" is featured in a playful font on the back of the helmet, and adds real retro flair with the white 510 peak. The helmet also comes with a 278 sticker that features Steve McQueen's name and 1964 ISDT details, adding to its authenticity.
