24Helmets.de was again present at the biggest exhibition for custom motorcycles
Here is our recapitulation of the exhibition "Custombike Show" in Germany:
Over 1000 classy rebuilt motorcycles, an exciting programm and more than 300
exhibition stands with news for the upcoming season. What happens in Bad Salzuflen, Germany,
at the first weekend in December is just crazy. There is no other place in
the world with such a high amount of custom bikes. And no other show focuses
on creativity, individuality and the sprit of "do-it-custom-yourself" that much.
No doubt: Our company 24Helmets.de may not miss this exhibition highlight. Since more than five
years now we are presenting the newest products like open-face and full-face helmets by
the hottest brands, scene accessories or stylish motorcycle clothing.
While the motors are blaring and premieres of new bikes from BMW Motorrad and Indian Motorcycles take place next
to our stand, interested people receive competent consultation about helmets and motorcycle clothing by the 24Helmets.de staff.
Looking at all the unique bikes and products, it is hard to recognize a real trend.
But timeless slow-burners are the old-school-bobbers. The upcoming thing seems to
be a chopper in the style of the 1960's - with metal flake varnishing, slim waist
and a "looong..." sissybar. Within the sporty motorcycles it stands out that
bikes from the 80's seem to get a strong comeback. But one thing is really conspicuous:
The new-wave-graphics and flashy colours are really hot right now. Matching this
trend 24Helmets.de got a quite big assortment of helmets designed in the 80s-look such
as AGV, Biltwell Inc. or Bell.
A special show called "Halbstark" presents youth dreams from several decades,
namely with at most 50 ccm. Zündapp, Puch, Kreidler or NSU Quickly is engraved on the
tanks. Hardly any of these bikes are still in original factory condition.
We are not in Berlin, Los Angeles or in Tokyo. But we are in Bald Salzuflen, the true epicenter of bike customizing.
