Goggles for the DMD helmet "SeventyFive" - our check

We were searching for matching motorcycle goggles with the new DMD "75" helmet. Please see our review and images of the test. Here you can read which goggles fit with this new DMD helmet, which has a pure vintage moto cross style like from the 70s. We did select a range of motocross goggles that we think of with matching style. All motorcycle goggles have a strap and are to be worn over the helmet.

The following motorcycle goggles were tested:

  • 100% Barstow
  • BILTWELL Overland
  • BARUFFALDI Speed-4 (no image taken)
  • AVIATOR T2 (no moto cross style, but always great...)

The DMD 75 helmet is a mixture between an open face and a full face helmet. It means that goggles need to have space regarding its height. But also the distance to the chin guard has to be sufficient. So, the goggles need to fit from height, width and depth.

The helmet comes in two shell sizes, a small shell for sizes between XS and M and a larger shell size for L to XXL.

The small shell size is rather tight. Space for goggles is limited. Distance between chin guard and face/nose is rather small. We found out that all of the mentioned goggles above will fit into a DMD 75 with small shell size. But depending on the owners face, space can be limited. The most easy goggles to insert were AVIATOR T2. The BILTWELL Overland goggles both worked also. With Barstow from 100% and the BARUFFALDI Speed-4, this shell size is definitely too small.

The larger shell size of the helmet is visible larger and provides more space for the head and for goggles. We had no problem at all to insert all of the mentioned goggles easily, regardsless of the shape of the face.
