The SENA SRL EXT was developed for helmets such as the SHOEI NXR2, which do not have internal recesses for the control unit (hence the name EXT/External). The main module is installed on the left side of the helmet. The external battery is attached separately on the right side of the helmet. The module is curved to better fit the outer curves of the NXR2.
