Since 1958 the Japanese manufacturer SHOEI Helmets has been developing handcrafted helmets of superior quality. With the „Glamster“ SHOEI has ventured into a neo-classic design direction merging latest technology and safety-standards with a classical design.
The SHOEI "Glamster" series is now expanded by three new designs which have been available since July 2020 and can now be delivered immediately!
The SHOEI Glamster convinces with a compact shape and great fit.
This full face helmet is being manufactured in well known high quality. The AIM structure is developed by SHOEI and enables the company to produce a lightweight, compact yet robust helmet shell. SHOEI uses a multi density EPS-Liner system for best possible fit. Furthermore the Glamster offers adjustable air vents at the forehead and air vents at the chin.
There are three shell sizes to support a perfect fit for each head size: XS-M, L and XL-XXL
The fit is determined by the measurement of the head circumference (in cm):

- XS = 53-54 cm
- S = 55-56 cm
- M = 57-58 cm
- L = 59-60 cm
- XL = 61-62 cm
- XXL = 63-64 cm
The fit of SHOEI helmets are usually comparable to all other helmets from the same manufacturer. Based on your experience with other SHOEI helmets, you may choose the same helmet size for the "Glamster" series.
Otherwise just measure your head circumference and use the size chart as a reference.
The cheek pads are available in different sizes for a best possible adjustment to the head. The cheeks pads are also detachable and washable, same with the inner lining.
Use the following size chart for SHOEI cheek pads as a reference if you consider to improve the standard fit:

- XS: 43mm (standard), optional 47mm (firm fit) or 39mm (loose fit)
- S-XL: 39mm (standard), optional 43mm (firm fit) or 35mm (loose fit)
- XXL: 35mm (standard), optional 39mm (firm fit) or 31mm (loose fit)

- XS: S 13mm (standard), optional S 17mm (firm fit) or S 9mm (loose fit)
- S: S 9mm (standard), optional S 13mm (firm fit) or S 5mm (loose fit)
- M: M 9mm (standard), optional M 13mm (firm fit) or M 5mm (loose fit)
- L: L 9mm (standard), optional L 13mm (firm fit) or L 5mm (loose fit)
- XL: XL 9mm (standard), optional XL 13mm (firm fit) or XL 5mm (loose fit)
- XXL: XL 5mm (standard), optional XL 9mm (firm fit) (no option for loose fit available)
SHOEI "Glamster" Visor and PINLOCK
This full face helmet comes with a clear visor (CPB-1) which is already eqipped with pins to add a PINLOCK anti-fog shield. For a special customer benefit a photochromatic PINLOCK EVO lens is included. The CPB-1 visor can be operated easily and prevents an accidental opening while riding. The PINLOCK EVO lense eliminates fogging of the visor and adapts automatically to sun conditions. Just like with all tinted visors and sunglasses the clear visor in combination with the photochromatic PINLOCK EVO lens does not meet the optical requirements of the ECE R22.
Additional accessories included in the box
SHOEI enclosed additional accessories to the Glamster that come with each helmet:
- A PINLOCK EVO shield
- A chin curtain, which reduces traffic noises and prevents air turbulences
- Silicone oil for better sealing of the visor
Retro look with three new designs!
The paint and finish is also done by hand by SHOEI.
Additional to the exisiting colours "Black", "Matt Black", "Off White", "Laguna Blue" and "Basalt Grey", three new designs are now available: "Resurrection TC-2", "Resurrection TC-5" and "Resurrection TC-10"!
