Brand new: Gringo SV
BILTWELL is not resting on this success, and this summer launches the brand new BILTWELL Gringo SV. Handcrafted to the same high standards as its predecessors, the Gringo SV offers a new standard of comfort and protection. The integrated vents at the forehead and in the chin section are a first for BILTWELL and give this full face helmet a sporty and powerful silhouette. Airflow passes over the motorcyclist's head through channels in the EPS safety shell to reduce moisture inside the helmet and dissipate heat. The forehead vents can be blocked by a sliding mechanism unless you need them. The Gringo SV's new and improved visor features Gen 2 hinge technology and a refined locking mechanism. Of course, the Gringo SV's comfort liner and cheek pads are removable and can be cleaned and replaced.
The Gringo SV was specifically designed to meet Europe's new ECE-R22.06 safety certification. This standard requires, among other things, a wider range of probable loads and impact angles and visor tests - from UV light transmission to fogging and impact resistance.
At the same time as the Gringo SV, the next generation of BILTWELL Gringo and BILTWELL Gringo S helmets will be available on the European market with the ECE06 standard.
