SHOEI presents the new GT-Air 3 full-face helmet!

The traditional Japanese company SHOEI Helmets has been producing motorbike helmets in absolute premium quality for many years. The new edition of the popular SHOEI sport and touring helmet "GT-Air 3" is now available on the market and of course already in our shop. We have summarized for you the most important information about the new premium helmet from SHOEI here:

Overview of the new SHOEI GT-Air 3 with ECE 22.06

The changeover to the new safety standard ECE22.06 led to many new challenges in helmet production. SHOEI also had to revise its established range of motorcycle and scooter helmets and adapt to the new standard.

We present to you the revised version of the SHOEI GT-Air full-face helmet, which is now available in the third generation (= "GT-Air 3"). SHOEI looks back on many years of experience in the production of motorcycle helmets and once again sets new standards for safety and comfort with the new "GT Air 3".

The SHOEI GT-Air 3 is made of an AIM outer shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix), which can absorb impacts very well. An important advantage of this material is the special composition, which makes the "GT Air 3" a comparatively light helmet in its class (we measured: 1600g in size M, without accessories). The EPS inner shell made of a multi-part polystyrene core system with different damping straights additionally protects the head from shocks.

A total of six helmet sizes are available for a perfect fit. It is possible to further optimize the fit by individual measures (e.g. changing the cheek pads).

SHOEI GT-Air 3 - the ventilation system and inner lining

Due to the new helmet shape developed in the wind tunnel for aerodynamics, the ventilation system could also be revised and thus also improved. The multiple ventilation points allow the air to circulate even better in the helmet. To achieve that, SHOEI put two air inlets at the front and two outlets at the top. This ensures a pleasant climate inside the helmet, especially on hot days.

However, SHOEI does not let the newly gained safety take away its lead in the area of comfort. Thanks to the 3D-shaped center pad, in the three sizes of the outer shell, the helmet adapts even better to the individual head shape. In combination with the variable sized cheek pads, it can be customized into a super comfortable helmet according to your wishes. Of course, each polyethane foam pad is removable and washable, which is especially advantageous after a long motorcycle trip.

SHOEI GT-Air 3 - visor, pinlock and sun visor

SHOEI installs a transparent CWR-1 outer visor with >99% UV protection in the "GT Air 3", which is characterized by its extended peripheral vision. In the accessories you will find the replacement visors in the following tints, among others: Silver Mirrored, Blue Mirrored, Rainbow Mirrored etc.. Choose replacement visors according to your preferences and needs. Of course, a PINLOCK® lens is also included to prevent the visor from fogging up. The internal QSV-2 sun visor is also included in the helmet and reduces annoying sun rays (dark tinted, filter 70%). The inner tinted visor can optionally be replaced by a yellow visor.
